When the appropriate time comes the SIP Forum would be delighted to host and sponsor an interoperability event under our SIPIT umbrella for ALIII (Allies) profile.

We have done this in the past. In fact, the SIP Forum did this for the full STIR/SHAKEN suite and many others.

What we need. The activity would need to be coordinated by the SIP Forum President and Executive director Marc Robins and myself.

What do we need. Those interested should approach the IP NNI chairs Martin and Chris for an expression of interest and willing to act as technical coordinators for such an effort. What is principally required is a test plan. This would involve the carriers and suppliers that would need to support this. Once there test plan co-chairs are appointed the SIP Forum would need a VERY simple request to Marc and myself to present to the SIP Forum BoD for approval. One or two paragraphs at best. Obviously, I can't imagine any of my board would object to such an effort.

On that basis we can promote the event through our normal channels coordinate with ATIS the usual Telecom Industry groups and others. Personally, I've been in close contact with the Cloud Communications Alliance folks who are VERY VERY interested in this.

It is obvious this is a virtual event without any out of pocket expenses from the SIP Forum. That said we can support some cash, if necessary, but I have total confidence there are generous sponsors to be found.

I'm happy to take any questions any of you folks have about this or specific requirements etc.
