Dear INC members,
This is a reminder of the open Action Items for the INC 186 face-to-face meeting:
· Tara Farquhar (NANPA) will refer internally to see if the top 10 NPAs in the Exhaust Report can be shown in a line graph with projected versus actual data from the previous five years. This is due at the beginning of INC 186. (January 30-February 1, 2024 - Section 8, Incoming Liaisons – NPA Exhaust Report)
· Participants will review the NANP expansion plan and highlight topics of discussion to present at the next INC meeting. (May 9 & 11, 2023)
· ATIS will develop a Glossary for ATIS-0300071, Recommended Plan for Expanding the Capacity of the North American Numbering Plan (NANP).
· Tara Farquhar (NANPA) will review section 1.1 of the NANP Expansion Plan. This is due at the beginning of INC 186. (March 7- Section 6)
· Participants will refer internally to decide if there is a technical reason 555 could not be made into a nongeographic NPA. (January 30-February 1, 2024 - Section 16)
· Participants will gather information surrounding choke networks and consider their effect on Special Use services and the consumption of NPA/NXX's as the transition to IP networks occurs. (February 23-Section 5)
· Participants will go back internally to determine if their translations teams make any translations updates when blocks are disconnected, and they are the code holder. Participants should clarify if they use the daily or monthly LERG. This Item is due by INC 185. (October 24-26, 2023 – Section 21)
· Participants should consider an additional timeframe to suggest for receiving the NPAC Ad Hoc Reports, on a more frequent basis than 45 days. This is due at the beginning of INC 186. (January 30-February 1, 2024 - Section 18)
· Allyson Blevins (Sinch) will create a contribution for Issue 962, with the help of Tara Farquhar (NANPA). (October 24-26, 2023 – Section 22)
· Tara Farquhar (NANPA) will review internally to investigate the possible dispositions for an 9YY NXX code request included in the TRD to confirm if an option to suspend shall be included in the 9YY NXX Code Assignment Guidelines and forms. This is due at the beginning of INC 186. (January 30-February 1, 2024 - Section 24).
· Tara Farquhar (NANPA) will refer internally to determine if there is a common reason given for ISP disconnect. This is due at the beginning of INC 186. (January 30-February 1 - Section 27)
· Participants are to investigate internally the procedures in place to ensure ISP Ports are completed and the block is protected from further assignment prior to disconnecting a thousands-block. This is due at the beginning of INC 186. (January 30-February 1 - Section 27)
· Tara Farquhar (NANPA) will investigate internally for additional data regarding Issue 973. Information regarding contamination from the previous few months within clean blocks was specifically requested. This is due at the beginning of INC 186. (January 30-February 1- Section 28)
