Dear INC members,
This is a reminder of the open Action Items related to Issue 951, Review the Unassignable Special Use NXXs in ATIS-0300119, Thousands-Block (NPA-NXX-X) & Central Office Code (NPA-NXX) Administration Guidelines per request from NAOWG. This issue will be discussed at the next interim meeting on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 1:30-3:30 PM ET.
- Participants will gather information surrounding choke networks and consider their effect on Special Use services and the consumption of NPA/NXX's as the transition to IP networks occurs. (February 23 – Section 5, Issue 951)
- Tara Farquhar (NANPA) will confirm the number of NPAs in service to provide in the footnote. She will include numbers from the US, US Territories, Canada, and other countries. This is due by the INC meeting on March 20, 2024, regarding Issue 951. (February 23 – Section 5, Issue 951)
- Participants should refer internally to confirm uses for 959 as an NXX in 10-digit dialing. This is due by the INC interim meeting on March 20, 2024, to discuss Issue 951. (February 23 – Section 5, Issue 951)
