INC - Industry Numbering Committee

Dear INC Participants,

It was a pleasure seeing everyone last week in Overland Park!  Below are the Action Items from INC 191.  Please review them and let me know if you have any proposed edits by May 14, 2025.  Otherwise, I will post to AWS as is.

• Phil Linse (Lumen) and Tara Farquhar (NANPA) will draft a new issue and contribution corresponding to the SNAC RouteLink Toll-Free Routing discussion that occurred during INC 191.
• Tara Farquhar (NANPA) will review the CIC Annual Report User Guide to determine where additional information or macros are needed.
• Tara Farquhar (NANPA) will review the NPA database and provide critical analysis of industry data to provide insight into potential solutions for numbering exhaust (e.g., NANP exhaust, 5XX exhaust).
• ATIS will post the whitepaper that was included in the 09/19/2014 letter sent to Dr. Scott Jordan and Dr. Henning Schulzrinne by ATIS on behalf of the INC related to large-scale rate center consolidation considerations to the AWS INC publications folder.
• John Nakamura (10x People) and Allyson Blevins (Sinch) will coordinate a meeting with NPIF Co-Chairs Deb Tucker and Teresa Patton discuss ATIS-0300065 and determine if NPAC feedback is relevant. 
• ATIS will review INC-2025-00052R000 and ensure "the" precludes the word "NANPA".
• INC Participants must determine when INC needs to identify the origin of a term in the guideline glossaries (i.e., should NENA be identified as the originator of ESQK)
• INC Participants must consider the best method for INC to document glossary terms (e.g., in either a single document vs in the individual guidelines).
• Allyson Blevins (Sinch) will draft a contribution to reference the acronyms and abbreviations in Location Routing Number (LRN) Assignment Practices (ATIS-0300065) by INC 192.
• Allyson Blevins (Sinch) will draft a contribution to reference the acronyms and abbreviations in NPA Code Relief Planning and Notification Guidelines (ATIS-0300061) by INC 192.
• Dyan Adams will compare INC documents to determine consistency among glossary terms by INC 192.
