    Tara Farquhar (NANPA) will investigate internally for additional data regarding Issue 973. Information regarding contamination from the previous few months within clean blocks was specifically requested. (This is due at the beginning of INC 186.)

    The average number of ports in the unassigned thousands-blocks reported to NANPA is 1, however, there was at least one instance where it was 100 TNs. Since NANPA cannot see individual port data and only receives a count for the number of ports from the NPAC, NANPA does not know if the Code Holder or another SP initiated the port(s). On at least two occasions, an SP indicated that the Code Holder assigned the number and the customer ported out the number to their company.
