| Description | This document presents STIR/SHAKEN issues relating to the VRS industry. It is supportive of the efforts to reduce robocalling and the misuse of telephone numbers while pointing out the importance of VRS user not being disadvantaged. Later chapters suggest solutions that may be be helpful in mitigating problems that enterprises may face: difficulties with certificate management; and the delayed call leg problem. And we propose that Service Providers should be able to fully attest for Enterprises, in industries − such as VRS − that have existing robust mechanisms to ensure the legitimate use of numbers. |
