| Description | This document introduces a Governance model and certificate management procedures to the SHAKEN framework. The Governance model defines roles and relationships, such that the determination of who is authorized to administer certificates for VoIP networks can be established. This model allows for the application of specific regulatory requirements independent of the mechanisms for certificate management. The certificate management is based on the definition of roles similar to those defined in RFC 5280. Per the SHAKEN framework, the certificates themselves are based on X.509 with specific policy extensions. |
